The Tulane School of Professional Advancement Media + Design program offers you a range of degree and certificate options. Whether you’re interested in prototyping innovative apps, creating logos and branding packages, developing digital marketing campaigns and content strategy, creating measurable and impact strategy, or being the public face of a brand or company, we have work-ready programs to help you take your next step.
Our Tulane SoPA Media + Design students are flourishing and excelling both in and out of the classroom. Many of our media and design graduates are now working for organizations and agencies such as St. Jude Hospital in Memphis, TN; the NBA in New York, NY; FÖDA in Austin, TX; as well as Deep Fried Advertising and Peter Mayer Advertising in New Orleans, LA.

You belong at Tulane! At the Tulane School of Professional Advancement, we make transferring your prior earned credits as simple as possible.
*SoPA undergraduate tuition is currently $623/credit hour. A student who transfers 60 credits will pay $37,380 to complete the required additional 60 credits to earn a bachelor’s degree. With a 20% discount and $1,500 transfer scholarship, the total cost is $28,404. PBC's are 30 credits and will pay $18,690 to complete. With a 20% discount, the cost is $14,952. Professional certificates are 18 credits and $11,214 to complete. With a 20% discount, the cost is $8,971.

Post-Baccalaureate & Professional Certificates
Our certificates can help you achieve your career goals. We offer 30 credit post-baccalaureate certificates in Graphic Design and Interactive Design and 18 credit professional certificates in Advertising, Digital Media & Marketing Communications, and Public Relations.

Interested in gaining real-world experience while earning your degree? Tulane SoPA’s Digital Design Co-Op program allows students to support sponsored projects from local, regional, and national brands interested in expanding their design and branding assets. Build your portfolio while experiencing a fast-paced working environment that mirrors professional scenarios.
Service Learning
Impact your community with your design skills while also gaining professional experience when you participate in Tulane SoPA’s service learning program. In this program, students work directly with a non-profit organization to design work for a particular cause and social endeavor.
This program gives students the opportunities to:
- See how design is used for marketing goods and services
- See how to shape social change, and
- Work on their writing and presentation skills
